Megan & Amit's Wedding

Megan & Amit were high school sweet heart. It wasn't friendship at first sight, but their relationship grew and blossom into something special. After years of dating, they finally said "I do" in Berkeley, their childhood hometown. Megan is a go-getter and always know what she wanted. For the bridal style, she requested smokey eyes and long down dos. Together with her beautiful airy layered dress and hip length veil, the golden tone eye shadow highlighted Megan's gorgeous eyes while her long wavy hair style completed the romantic-chic look. It's a trend that designated to become a classic style. It was a joy seeing how happy they are together. I adored this vivacious couple's love and respect for one another. Their wedding will always hold a special place in my memory. Ann and Vik's Wedding

When I first met Ann at our makeup trial, she struck me as a very sweet and kind person. After that, I worked with Ann on several other occasions. I feel so lucky for the chance to work with Ann on her wedding day. Since she already has a beautiful facial structure, I simply enhanced her eyes and highlighted her cheek bone. For her hair, we went with small volume and mid-low loose tousled updo. I love her flower bouquets and the orchid on her hair. She was glowing on her wedding day. Thank you Ann and Vik for giving me a chance to get to know you. Hope you have a blast at your honeymoon in Thailand. Special thanks to Jennifer Brotchie for the gorgeous photos, and a shout out to Mina Tran and Christina Chen for your wonderful job on the bridal party. See more photos here

Ellin and Michael's Woodside Wedding

Ellin and Michael met at their high school. After years of dating, Mike finally proposed to Ellin during their weekend vacation in Santa Barbara. The high school sweethearts got married at the beautiful Valley Presbyterian Church. To match Ellin's sweet and vivacious personality, we went with the minimalistic and youthful makeup style. The lush individual lashes opened up her eyes while peachy blush and natural color lip gloss created warmth. Together with the tousled updo, we achieved the sweet and youthful look. See more Ellin and Micael's wedding photos

Heidi and Wilson's Mark Hopkins Wedding

Heidi and Wilson's Wedding was a true San Francisco experience. It took place at the beautiful Mark Hopkins, a historic landmark hotel built in 1926. Heidi is a creative bride who know exactly what she wants. She picked the modern low bun updo; her eyes makeup was in purple and shimmering pewter. Her mermaid dress with layers of ruffle is breathtaking. I was at awe when she walked out. It was, as you can see from the photos, modern, elegant and beautiful. Thank you Heidi for allowing me to be part of your beautiful wedding! See more Heidi and Wilson's wedding photos

Amy and Tim's Cliff House Wedding

The Cliff House is one of my favorite spots in San Francisco. It's a mixture of peaceful and historical atmosphere. Amy and Tim's ocean-side wedding carried the exact feeling. Her ball-gown dress with sheer layers looked soft and romantic, which fitted well with her soft low updo (it's also ocean beach wind-proof). I love the copper eye shadow with a touch of sparkling gold. The overall look feels effortless yet timeless and romantic. See more Amy and Tim's wedding photos here

Vincent & Susanna's City Hall Wedding

Like many medical students, Vincent and Susanna met at their laboratory. On May 7, 2011, they were wed at the spectacular San Francisco City Hall and said their vows under the fifth largest dome in the world. For the wedding ceremony, Susanna chose a romantic loose tousled updo and a clean natural makeup look, the perfect combination for a young modern bride. Then, we changed her hair into a half updo for the ocean viewed reception. It was wonderful working with them and saw how happy they were together.

Mychi and Alex Wedding Video

Mychi and Alex are my most favorite clients. Their fun, sweet and caring nature was captured in their wedding video. Mychi is such a beautiful person inside and out. It was a joy working with them and getting to know them. For Mychi makeup, we emphasized on adding roundness to her beautiful elongate eyes with dark brown shadow and individual lashes. For her hair, we went with a clean tousle updo in the morning, and she let her hair down for the group dance in the evening. They chose "don't stop believing" to be their dance song. I can't help but smile everytime I look at their video and see how happy they were. May their love continue to grow and forever believe in one another.

Brandon and Bernice's Villa Montalvo Wedding

Brandon and Bernice were wed at the beautiful Villa Montalvo in Saratoga, a classic Italian Mediterranean style mansion. Bernice picked a classic style hair updo to match her A-line shape gown. She doesn't normally ware makeup, so we kept her makeup natural and simple for her comfort. We added warmth and dimension to her eyes with warm copper and pink shadow. Then, we finished styling her eyes with short and medium length individual lashes. The result is a very classic natural look that will last for decades to come. Thank you Mike and Nat at Choco studio for the beautiful photos!

Christine & Richard's Wedding

Christine is a beautiful and vivacious bride. The look of the wedding was romantic and elegant. We kept her hair down with a light natural makeup in the morning for her Vietnamese ceremony. In the afternoon, we switched into a coral + brown for her eyes and a soft romantic updo for her hair. She looked so beautiful. I love her fusion wedding video and love how she sang to Richard during the reception. It showed how playful and lovely she is. Best wishes to Christine and Richard on their new beginning together as husband and wife.

June Bug Bride

Kathryn is a natural beauty bride. To compliment her beautiful facial features, we went with a soft shimmer blush tone with a touch of golden brown for her eyes. For her lips, we used a matte lipstick that matches her natural lips color. On her wedding day, Kathryn decided to go with a half up dos with extension to add length. The overall look is very simple, natural and elegant. It complimented her natural beauty so well. She's a beautiful June Bug Bride :)
